JOB OVERVIEW Utilize remote sensing/geospatial technologies, approaches and methodologies to provide support for natural resource applications including basic image interpretation, photographic interpretation and analysis, routine data processing and management, map plot composition and production, and documentation, including report assembly and distribution. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Demonstrated ability to process, analyze, and model in geospatial software (e.g., ERDAS Imagine and Esri ArcGIS Pro). Demonstrated ability to learn new geospatial software, such as Metashape, eCognition, Google Earth Engine, ENVI, and Fusion. Experience in earth sciences and knowledge of airborne/satellite imagery. -AND- Professional certification, or relevant coursework in geography, GIS, or remote sensing, and five (5) years of relevant professional work experience in geospatial analysis and modeling. Desired Qualifications For Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, And Hunting Sector Sector Time and Materials 874-1 Consultant Candidates - Assist program and project management in a functional area with educational and practical experience.Analyst: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree related to geography, GIS, remote sensing, or physical / biological / environment / natural resource discipline with substantive coursework in geospatial analysis and modeling, and three (3) years of relevant professional work experience in geospatial analysis and modeling. -OR- Graduate degree related to geography, GIS, remote sensing, or physical / biological / environment / natural resource discipline with substantive coursework in geospatial analysis and modeling, and one (1) year of relevant professional work experience in geospatial analysis and modeling. -OR- PhD degree related to geography, GIS, remote sensing, or physical / biological / environmental discipline, including emphasis or coursework in geospatial analysis and modeling.
