In addition to the sign-on bonus, this position is eligible for a relocation bonus if current residency is outside of the designated distance to facility. New teammates at Atrium Health are eligible for robust benefits packages and paid time off. Where You Will Work:    2 North is a 16-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Observation and Horizons Detox unit. The most common diagnoses are new diagnosis DM, chest pain, R/O stroke, abdominal pain, GI bleed, detox, suicide ideation, and altered mental status.  Expectations We’re Looking For:    1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.  At least 6 months required experience to come in outside of the New Grad residency program.   Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.   Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices   Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association  What You’ll Do:    • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.   • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.   About This Location:    Atrium Health Mercy is a 196-bed facility of Carolinas Medical Center (CMC).
