This person is responsible for the accurate delivery of therapeutic radiation treatments to patients and simulations for patient treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist. The therapist must have a thorough understanding of the rationale for radiation therapy as well as skills in patient assessment and interpersonal communication. . Highlights of Our Lebanon Location Comprehensive, patient-centered cancer services Advanced Varian Ethos linear accelerator technology Multidisciplinary oncology team approach Eight private infusion suites with onsite infusion pharmacy support Integrated supportive services including palliative care and pain management Coordinated, evidence-based cancer treatment planning Advanced Technology & Clinical Resources This role provides the opportunity to work with innovative Radiation Oncology technology, including: Varian Ethos adaptive radiation therapy platform Aria Oncology Information System Epic electronic medical record Advanced imaging and treatment planning tools Evidence-based treatment protocols designed to support exceptional patient outcomes What You'll Do Deliver safe, accurate external beam radiation therapy treatments using Varian Ethos technology Perform CT simulation and brachytherapy simulation procedures according to established protocols Verify treatment parameters and maintain treatment quality standards Document treatments accurately within Aria and Epic systems Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and expectations Provide compassionate support throughout each patient's treatment journey Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental policies Qualifications Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy BLS Certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary oncology team Preferred Qualifications Previous Radiation Oncology experience Experience with Varian treatment systems Experience using Aria and/or Epic Experience performing CT simulation procedures Familiarity with adaptive radiation therapy workflows Why Lebanon, Tennessee?
