Radiation Therapist - Flexi

City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Rockingham Medical Center Hahn Cancer Center is hiring a Radiation Therapist - Flexi Schedule Days, 8- 16 hrs per pay period – 8 hr shifts M-F Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include but are not limited to: •    Deliver external beam radiotherapy to include (3D, IMRT, SRS/SBRT) •    Deliver brachytherapy treatment •    Perform patient simulations; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices •    Reviewing patient records for accuracy  •    Acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel •    Maintaining patient records, reports, and files All new graduates will remain Radiation Therapist I for the first 2 years of employment and are required to pass boards within 6 months of hire. Education Associates degree Radiation Therapy (Required) Certification/Licensure ARRT Radiation Therapy (T) - Certifications BLS Experience Prior related experience is Preferred We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.05 - $65.34 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
