Quantum Software Manager

Join a world-class team of scientists, engineers, and business professionals to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum computing.  Atom Computing is seeking a Quantum Software Manager to drive innovation at the intersection of scientific research, software development, and integration. In this role, you’ll balance hands-on technical contributions with team leadership to build and support world-class scientific workflows. You’ll work across the full stack—empowering engineers and physicists to deploy software to support ongoing research and development efforts as well as helping to transform prototype software into robust and polished products. The quantum error correction team consists of a mix of mathematicians, experimental and theoretical physicists, and software engineers and this role requires interfacing across a range of backgrounds and skillsets. This role reports to the Director of Quantum Error Correction. This role is required to be in the office in Berkeley at least 3 days per week.
