Pulmonary Inpatient Medical - WEO- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta Hospital

Overview Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at our inpatient location at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This is a full time 40 hour per week position including working weekend shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nation’s leading pulmonary programs. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians and APPs.   Responsibilities In this position you will:  •    Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Pulmonary patients in an inpatient setting  •    Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient’s medical record •    Write orders, progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries•    Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.  •    Interpret lab studies and radiographic testing•    In collaboration with physicians, develop appropriate treatment plans•    Work alongside Physicians and other Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.  Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:  Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.     Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Medical Care Corporation
