As a Project Manager III within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. The Project Manager III is responsible for leading large-scale, complex technology initiatives from initiation through implementation and stabilization. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for project delivery, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology strategy, and enterprise governance standards. The Project Manager III drives execution across cross-functional teams including business, technology, product, architecture, quality engineering, operations, and third-party vendors. This individual is responsible for project planning, financial management, risk mitigation, governance, stakeholder engagement, and executive communications while delivering measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings experience leading enterprise technology programs, managing complex dependencies, and delivering high-impact initiatives within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Project Delivery & Execution ○ Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology initiatives and associated workstreams with significant business and technical impact. ○ Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, schedules, delivery roadmaps, and release timelines. ○ Align project objectives, deliverables, and execution strategies with enterprise priorities, technology roadmaps, and business goals. ○ Coordinate execution across business, product, technology, architecture, quality engineering, operations, and vendor teams. ○ Drive accountability across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. ○ Monitor project progress, identify delivery risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address issues and dependencies. ○ Manage scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. ○ Lead implementation readiness activities, transition-to-support planning, and post-production stabilization efforts. • Financial & Resource Management ○ Own project financials, including budget development, forecasting, actuals management, variance analysis, and reconciliation activities. ○ Track labor and non-labor expenditures while maintaining transparency and accountability for project spend. ○ Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to approved budgets. ○ Support annual planning processes, investment governance reviews, business case development, and funding approvals. ○ Communicate financial performance, budget health, risks, and opportunities to leadership and key stakeholders. ○ Monitor benefit realization and support measurement of financial and operational outcomes. • Executive Communications & Stakeholder Management ○ Prepare and deliver executive-level project status reports, dashboards, milestone updates, and strategic communications. ○ Develop governance and leadership review materials, including CIO and senior executive reporting. ○ Communicate project progress, achievements, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes to stakeholders at all organizational levels. ○ Present recommendations, decision-support materials, and project health assessments to leadership teams. ○ Translate technical information into meaningful business impacts and strategic value. ○ Build strong relationships across business and technology organizations to drive alignment and decision-making. • Risk, Issue & Vendor Management ○ Manage project risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and dependency tracking throughout execution. ○ Develop and execute remediation plans for schedule, scope, cost, resource, and delivery challenges. ○ Identify and escalate enterprise-level risks and dependencies that may impact project success. ○ Partner with vendors and sourcing teams to support contract management, statement of work oversight, invoice forecasting, and delivery performance. ○ Drive issue resolution through proactive stakeholder engagement and collaboration. ○ Assess organizational impacts and ensure appropriate mitigation and change management strategies are implemented. • Governance, Compliance & Change Management ○ Ensure projects adhere to TPMO methodology, governance requirements, enterprise standards, and delivery frameworks. ○ Support quality reviews, release governance, audit readiness, regulatory requirements, and quarterly compliance activities. ○ Facilitate project governance forums, executive checkpoints, and health assessments. ○ Maintain project documentation, controls, artifacts, and reporting within approved systems of record. ○ Partner with change management teams to support stakeholder readiness, communication planning, training, and adoption activities. ○ Ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, operational, and enterprise requirements throughout project execution. • Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement ○ Monitor delivery performance through Agile, quality engineering, release, financial, and operational metrics. ○ Measure business outcomes and benefit realization against approved objectives and success criteria. ○ Analyze forecasts, trends, delivery indicators, and performance data to support leadership decision-making. ○ Track commitments versus actual results and communicate project health to stakeholders and executives. ○ Facilitate lessons learned and promote best practices across project teams and the broader TPMO organization. ○ Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery effectiveness, governance maturity, and project outcomes. • Lea
