Program Manager I

Overview The Program Manager I is responsible for the overall knowledge, organization, direction and requirements of the contract effort.  The Program Manager I is responsible for the timely report of information to ensure program efforts are met. Responsibilities Demonstrates competence in project management and technical competence in discipline field(s) Possesses knowledge of industry policies and practices such as FAR ISO 9001 and AS9110 Understands and complies with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies and procedures Provides cost and schedule estimating Ensure program meets systems discipline, engineering specifications and commercial practices relating to weapon systems procurement and production. Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required Participates in program meetings as required Must be able to provide clear concise communication Qualifications Education: BA/BS in Business, Management, Engineering or Science Required Masters Preferred Experience: Two years Program Management Experience Required Four years Program Management Experience Preferred MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project desired Earned Value Management, Proposal Writing experience preferred Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
