Program Coordinator II

Overview The Program Coordinator II will support the implementation and day-to-day coordination of the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Disability Grant project. The position will work closely with the Utah Assistive Technology Program (UATP), project partners, disability organizations, victim service providers, and other community stakeholders to improve the accessibility, safety, and responsiveness of services for survivors with disabilities. The Program Coordinator will coordinate project activities, training, partner communication, accessibility efforts, data collection, and grant deliverables. The position will also assist with developing resources and identifying assistive technology (AT) and accessibility strategies that can help organizations better serve survivors with disabilities. This position is currently funded through September 30, 2029, with additional position duration contingent upon funding. View more information here: Summary of Benefits 2025-2026. Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day activities, timelines, meetings, and deliverables associated with the OVW Disability Grant project. Maintain regular communication with project partners and participating organizations to support collaboration and timely completion of project activities. Coordinate and support trainings for victim service providers, disability organizations, advocates, and other community partners. Assist participating organizations with accessibility assessments and development of individualized accessibility improvement plans. Support implementation of pilot activities and accessibility improvements at participating organizations. Coordinate the development and distribution of project resources, toolkits, accessibility materials, and assistive technology resources. Help identify appropriate assistive technology and accessibility solutions that can improve communication, safety, and access to services for survivors with disabilities. Coordinate meetings, schedules, training logistics, travel, materials, and other project-related activities. Track project activities, participation, outputs, and progress toward grant goals and objectives. Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with data collection and preparation of information needed for OVW progress and grant reports. Work closely with project leadership and the evaluation team to support evaluation and continuous quality improvement activities. Represent the project at meetings, trainings, conferences, and community outreach activities as assigned. Promote accessible communication practices, including plain language and accommodations for individuals with different communication and accessibility needs. Perform other project-related duties necessary to successfully implement the OVW Disability Grant. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in disability studies, social work, public health, rehabilitation, education, human services, psychology, sociology, communication, public administration, or a related field plus two years of experience; or a master's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in disability services, victim services, domestic violence or sexual assault services, assistive technology, accessibility, or related community-based programs. Experience coordinating federally funded grants or multi-partner projects. Experience organizing or delivering professional training and technical assistance. Experience collecting program data, tracking outcomes, and assisting with grant reporting. Experience collaborating with community-based organizations and multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive approaches. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or individuals with lived experience of violence or abuse. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with organizations, professionals, and community members. Ability to coordinate multiple activities, deadlines, meetings, and project priorities. Demonstrated commitment to accessibility, confidentiality, and respectful services for individuals with disabilities and survivors of violence. Ability and willingness to travel within Utah as needed for project activities, trainings, and partner meetings. Knowledge of disability accessibility, accommodations, assistive technology and accessible communication practices.
