Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Planning Administrator located in Columbia, SC. Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager the Production Planning Administrator role is responsible for performing the administrative tasks relating to production planning.   What a typical day looks like: 1st Point of contact for Leads and Ops/ Stock Room/ Receiving by being on the Floor. Serve as Eyes and Ears of the Line to Production Planning/ Master Scheduling Working knowledge of Primary/ Secondary Lines to ensure continuous coverage Communication Link with Production Planning/ Scheduling Release/Print/ Post Work Orders Owner/ Report out at MDI Board on Inventory Section Inventory/ Red/ Green from Previous Day Inventory Trend CTB % Inventory Trending Causes MDI Actions X to Y by Z Who does what by when Owner, QTY, ETA, Tracking Any Red condition/ 15-day shortage- likely an action needed.   The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Affects different areas by contributing to development of techniques or concepts.
