The Excalibur 1b Production Program has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Production Execution Senior Program Manager. You will be responsible for production for the US Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. You will be responsible for the tactical execution of all facets of Production in support of a large multi-year Excalibur 1b contract. This position offers a unique opportunity and provides unparalleled experience leading a legacy Raytheon program that is being actively used in combat. This role requires proficiency in leading dynamic production problem solving, cross functional teams, and managing challenging supplier relationships. You will be communicating program goals, objectives, decisions, and results to both internal and external leadership and will report to the Excalibur 1b Program Associate Director. You will be a critical member of the Excalibur 1b Leadership Team. There will be a high level of senior leadership visibility in this role due to the significant size of the contract.  We are seeking a poised and motivational leader who can lead the team through challenges enabling the achievement of program objectives. What You Will Do Support and drive AOP objectives and action plans Lead the program risk and opportunity process, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations Execute daily program management and cadence such as risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, program management reviews (PMRs), staffing reviews, and decision reviews to achieve contract / financial commitments Lead production proposal activities Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements and Raytheon’s Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), such as gate reviews and the GEM tool, and both corporate- and business-level policies and procedures Identify and implement key program assessments and metrics to lead development of situational awareness charts and performance assessments that enable program success drivers by program leadership teams Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed Qualifications You Must Have   Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience Experience supporting development, capture, production, and/or sustainment programs in the aerospace and defense industry Leadership experience Experience leading EAC process and risk and opportunity management Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule on a program Qualifications We Prefer Program Management certification, or equivalent Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals Prior experience managing suppliers Working knowledge of AOP, LRP and production MRP systems Familiarity with US Army customers including PMCAS and DEVCOM What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
