FOX 5/KUSI is seeking a talented, innovative Supervising Producer for Nexstar's powerful duopoly in beautiful San Diego.  Winning candidate will thrive on capturing the audience using creative marketing tactics and compelling content that breaks through on both broadcast and digital.  This position supports our Lifestyle shows and sales and requires strengths in writing and producing, directing, lighting, shooting and editing projects from start to finish. Primary Duties: Produce, shoot and edit packages for our lifestyle programs, The LOCAList SD, Somos San Diego, Senior Style and Good Business San Diego Create polished, on-brand marketing spots for KUSI and FOX 5 and client commercials Support multiple sales productions at once using station's workflow management system Send project details and assets to the company hub to deliver spots for sales production Collaborate on strategy and supervise implementation of the department's sales & marketing plans Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Sales Skills & Abilities: Strong writing, shooting and editing talent a must Comfortable with live studio production, experienced with on-location lighting and sound, Sony Cinema cameras and Adobe software  Comfortable meeting clients and discussing creative strategies and executing projects from start to finish Must be able to lift 50lbs, including loading production gear in and out of vehicles, setting up and striking large lighting equipment, cameras, camera dollies and audio equipment. Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Broadcasting or Journalism preferred or equivalent work experience.
