Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to electrical and I&C, in accordance with Design Output documents, Codes, and Standards. Perform field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans. Document inspection results on applicable inspection records and issue non-conformance reports as required. Review product and process compliance with all specified drawings, specifications, and other requirements through inspection and/or review of supplied materials and equipment Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 - 10 years of practical experience in construction inspection or related areas OR An associate's degree and 10 - 12 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent OR A high school diploma and 12 - 16 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent. Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Well developed organizational and supervisory skills and good communication talents are required. Prior work experience working under an ASME NQA-1 quality program. Prior DOE work experience. Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required. Practical field experience in electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) quality control within the last 16 months. Duration of the Contract: 1 year, (2) 1 year option periods Mon-Thurs 6:00a-4:30p Projects Supported: SPD/K-PuMP project Onsite or Remote? 100% Onsite.
