We’re hiring a senior product leader to help shape the future of AI-powered shopping at Amazon.
Alexa for Shopping is reinventing how hundreds of millions of customers discover products, make decisions, and get things done, from finding the right product to tracking prices and automating everyday shopping tasks. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of generative AI, agentic experiences, and commerce at extraordinary scale.
As the Principal PMT for Partner Enablement, you will define how teams across Amazon build the next generation of AI-powered shopping experiences. You will own the strategy and multi-year roadmap for the platform capabilities that enable businesses, including Your Orders, Payments, Amazon Business, Health, Grocery, and Softlines, to independently build, evaluate, launch, and operate high-quality experiences on AFS.
This is a highly visible, high-leverage role leading one of our most critical priorities. You will work backward from customer and partner needs to simplify development, accelerate launches, raise the quality bar, and unlock a growing ecosystem of partner-built experiences.
We’re looking for a technical, customer-obsessed product leader who thrives in ambiguity, thinks big, and knows how to turn emerging technology into scalable capabilities and delightful customer experiences.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AFS Partner Enablement, building scalable self-service capabilities that enable Amazon teams to independently develop, launch, and operate high-quality AI shopping experiences.
- Define and deliver platform capabilities that reduce partner onboarding effort and increase innovation velocity, including self-service evaluation, agent routing, configurable customer experience frameworks, and modular prompt architecture.
- Drive prioritization of which partner experiences AFS supports, working backwards from customer impact, strategic alignment, and platform readiness to make investment tradeoffs across competing opportunities.
- Partner closely with engineering, science, UX, and partner product teams to define product requirements, influence technical architecture, and deliver solutions that improve extensibility, reliability, and quality across the AFS ecosystem.
- Lead cross-functional execution to enable strategic partner launches, translating launch learnings into reusable platform capabilities that increase partner independence and accelerate future innovation.
- Interface regularly with Directors and VPs across AFS and partner organizations to align on product strategy, roadmap priorities, resource investments, and launch readiness, influencing decisions through PRFAQs, strategic narratives, and executive reviews.
- Own partner escalations and resolve complex cross-organizational issues impacting partner launches, platform adoption, or customer experience, balancing immediate customer needs with long-term platform health and scalability.
- Establish mechanisms, success metrics, and operational reviews to measure partner onboarding, self-service adoption, launch velocity, customer quality, and ecosystem health, using data to prioritize future investments and continuously improve the partner experience.
