The company is owned 90% by MET employees and 10% by Keppel Infrastructure, a wholly owned subsidiary of   Keppel Corporation *. * Listed on the Singapore Exchange We are looking for a Power Operations Analyst who will be responsible for maximizing the commercial value of a company’s electricity portfolio in the short‑term markets (intraday, day‑ahead, balancing markets) while ensuring operational accuracy, risk control, and compliance. The role sits at the intersection of market operations, analytics, and commercial strategy, and ensures that physical positions are optimized in real time based on market prices, asset availability, forecasts, and system constraints. RESPONSIBILITIES Execute trading strategies in day‑ahead, intraday, and balancing markets to optimize portfolio value. Monitor real‑time market conditions and react swiftly to price movements, volatility, and system events. Balance the physical power position by adjusting trades according to updated forecasts and asset changes. Analyze short‑term forecasts for generation, demand, and prices to support trading decisions. Coordinate with operations, asset management, and dispatch teams to reflect asset availability in trading activity. Track and report daily performance, P&L drivers, and deviations relative to expectations. Ensure compliance with internal risk limits, regulatory requirements, and market operator procedures.
