Job Title PMO - Manager - Project Farma Location(s) Customer Site - PA Job Description This is a full-time salaried position with Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company. The successful candidate will reside in one of Project Farma's primary markets and be willing to travel domestically to meet client project requests.      Project Farma’s purpose is to improve patient lives by accelerating the delivery of life-changing therapies. This role balances people leadership with operational accountability, including coaching, performance management, resource planning, and ensuring high-quality delivery within defined scope, timelines, and budget. At more senior levels, this role provides experienced leadership and operational oversight across multiple projects or functional areas, with accountability for team performance, talent development, and consistent execution of business priorities, while partnering with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.  Key Responsibilities  This role leads the delivery of capital projects of moderate to high complexity, typically up to $5M total installed cost, within regulated life sciences and advanced manufacturing environments. This provides technical leadership and management of disciplined execution throughout the project lifecycle – from early design through operational readiness to closeout. This role balances people leadership with operational accountability, including coaching, performance management, resource planning, and ensuring high-quality delivery within defined scope, timelines, and budget. The PMO Manager acts as Project Farma’s and the client’s representative while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. They will report directly to the Regional Vice President, with an indirect reporting line to the VP, Project Management to ensure alignment with firm-wide project management standards.  Lead cross-functional project teams across engineering, construction, CQV, and startup workstreams.   Lead planning, design, construction, commissioning, startup and transition to operations phases of assigned projects.  Develop and manage project execution plans, governance models, and project controls structures.  Act as the owner’s representative and primary point of contact for client leadership.  Manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk across all project phases.  Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and quality standards (e.g., cGMP, OSHA).  Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, engineers, and support staff.  Interface with internal stakeholders, EPC/EPCM partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and progress.  Support change management and escalation processes with Regional Vice President and Vice President, Project Management as needed.   Attributes for Success  Technical Delivery: Applies advanced technical knowledge and professional expertise   Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Seeks better ways, adapts to change and champions new ideas.   Customer Focus & Professionalism: Represents PF with consistent professionalism, appropriate escalation and respect for internal stakeholders, even during high stress delivery situations   Integrity & Humility: Demonstrates self-awareness and puts PF mission above ego   Collaboration & Communication: Communicates clearly and proactively and drives transparent alignment with clients.   Project Execution: Delivers reliably, manages priorities and drives for high quality outcomes   Growth Mindset: Shows openness to new ideas, feedback and change  Experience Required  Education: Bachelor’s Degree (and/or Masters) in Construction Management, or related field.   Years of Experience: Minimum 7 years of capital project experience, with 3 years working in a highly regulated industry  Experience leading projects in the $500k - $2M TIC range.  Strong execution, communication, and leadership skills  Willingness to travel as required for client project assignments.  Other Preferred  PMP preferred  Project Farma is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
