Position Title Physician- Primary Care Annandale Job Description Summary Full-Time Primary Care Physician FTE: 1.0 Location: Multiple openings across Northern Virginia Position Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physicians to join our growing teams across Northern Virginia. We currently have several full-time openings and are looking for clinicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. Responsibilities · Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population · Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions · Perform routine physical exams, preventive health screenings, and wellness checks · Develop personalized treatment plans and provide health education to patients · Collaborate with specialists and coordinate patient care when needed · Light phone call coverage required for urgent issues or follow-ups · Work alongside a supportive medical team, including mid-level providers · Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the EMR system Minimum Requirements · MD or DO · Currently licensed or able to obtain a license in Virginia · Successful completion of a residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine · Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine · Experience with or willingness to learn the use of EPIC (EMR) We look forward to hearing from qualified candidates interested in joining us in a highly collegial environment where the patient is at the center of what we do. Job Description Purpose & Scope:   The physician is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the health system’s credentialing and privileging committee. The Physician supports objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level.Supports all medical activities at the individual level including implementation of quality control standards, risk management and compliance programs.The role of a physician is to provide quality clinical care to those individuals who have chosen VHC Health in a timely manner to meet the needs of our patients.  Education:   Doctorate from accredited medical school is required. Experience: One year of medical/surgical experience is required. Certifications/Licensure: Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
