Overview Department: Outpatient Rehabilitation-Physical Therapy Shifts Available:  Days Employment Type: Full-time  Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm  and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm  Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS  We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation Team. Therapists provide one-on-one, patient-centered care, primarily treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, with opportunities to work with neurological, vestibular, lymphedema, and pelvic health populations. The ideal candidate is passionate about evidence-based practice, functional outcomes, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. One year of outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred.Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/   Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to): Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals. Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility. Facilitate physical therapy sessions through exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery. Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively. Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.
