Position Overview FH Furr is seeking a Permit Coordinator to join our team in our Manassas, VA office. This role is responsible for managing permits, coordinating inspections, and serving as a key liaison between municipalities, inspectors, and internal teams across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will have experience with permitting, construction, home services, or a related field and thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires strong organization, communication, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Apply for all required permits across multiple FH Furr branches Schedule and coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions Serve as a liaison between inspectors, municipalities, and internal teams Track permit status and maintain organized, accurate documentation Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and permitting requirements Communicate timelines, updates, and any issues to internal stakeholders Qualifications Experience in permitting, construction, home services, trades, or a related industry preferred Familiarity with permitting processes, codes, and inspections Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build effective relationships with inspectors, municipalities, and internal teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and permit-tracking systems preferred Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset Why Join FH Furr?
