Part-time International Credential Analyst

Though the International Credential Analyst will work remotely, the person in this position will be expected to communicate regularly with the Operations Team and the AVP for International Enrollment. In addition, all training will take place remotely. This position is eligible to work remotely in the states of Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Kentucky. The primary function of the International Credential Analyst is to unweigh international transcripts and convert international grading systems to a standard US 4.0 scale. The Credential Analyst works remotely and must maintain close communication with the AVP of International Enrollment, the Assistant Director of Admission, International Specialist, and application processing staff to ensure timely and accurate reviews. Essential Functions Statement(s) Evaluate international academic credentials: Review International transcripts and secondary school reports to unweight GPAs and recalculate scores onto a standardized U.S. 4.0 grading scale. Identify missing or supplemental materials: flag missing documents, request clarifying academic information, or identify additional materials needed to conduct an accurate evaluation Collaborate with the AVP of International Enrollment to maintain consistent grading standards, conversion formulas, and file evaluation practices. Experience: One or more years of admission experience required. Computer Skills: Slate experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Mail. Workday experience preferred. Other Requirements Working knowledge of foreign educational systems grading scales and curricula. Ability to interpret foreign transcripts. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required, both written and verbal. Outstanding time-management skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully manage time commitments are required. The appropriate candidate will be competent with technology and its application in higher education, have strong administrative and operational skills and be a self-starter who works well independently.
