In this role, you’ll help ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and accurately while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe backroom environment. What You’ll Do Process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately Unpack, sort, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient backroom Follow established merchandising and processing procedures and standards Move merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor as needed Assist with maintaining merchandise flow throughout the store Follow recycling and, where applicable, hazardous waste procedures Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs Follow all labor laws, company policies, and procedures Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures Work cooperatively with fellow Associates and Management Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback Perform other duties as assigned Who We’re Looking For Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors Comfortable working in a physically active environment Capable of lifting and moving merchandise with or without reasonable accommodation Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Previous retail or backroom experience is preferred, but not required +18 years old required Schedule Part-Time | Backroom Processing Monday Through Sunday Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM Mid-November through Christmas: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM Applicants should be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holiday periods.
