The Omaha branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has an opening for a ten-week paid summer internship in Regional Affairs Economics. The intern would assist with data handling and exploratory analysis on regional or agriculture-related topics. This is an excellent position for someone who is passionate about research and considering a Ph.D. in economics. Interns develop technical skills and are exposed to a range of economic research topics.  Key Activities Provide research support for Bank and academic publications. Analyze data using appropriate statistical methods. Develop and document data collection processes. Qualifications  Undergraduate students with a graduation date between May 2027 - May 2028, or current graduate students.  Pursuing a degree in economics or a closely related field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science. Exceptional academic record. Strong analytical foundation. Solid written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently toward desired goals.
