This position is for a Principal Specialist, Program Cost controls Team Member (P3), working within the Raytheon; Operations, Supply Chain, & Quality (OSQ) Finance organization. As a member of the OSQ Finance team, the successful candidate will oversee the supply chain financials as a GSCM Program Cost Controls Analyst. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, weekly and monthly variance reporting, EAC development, and weekly analysis of cost runs, providing direct support to both Material Program Managers (MPMs) and the Program Operations Managers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a strong fundamental understanding of Global Supply Chain Management environment, while also working closely with the Program Finance office to ensure financial targets are achieved.  The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting both the Functional organizations as well as ensuring program financial commitments are met will be fundamental to success in this role.  Business management covers a wide set of requirements, and a successful candidate will need to show flexibility in job abilities and strong communication skills.   What You Will Do ·       The selected candidate will operate with independence and exercise sound judgment in forecasting, risk identification, and financial planning. ·       Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis. ·       Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC). ·       Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads. ·       Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, financial overviews, and other reporting activities as required. ·       Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance utilizing standard company tools and processes. ·       Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management. ·       Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads. What You Will Learn ·      How to shape financial execution strategy at the outset of a major production contract phase within a mature defense portfolio. ·      Advanced forecasting and EAC methodologies across a complex, multi-year production environment. ·      Integration of technology refresh and obsolescence mitigation into established production baselines. ·      Long-lead material planning and funding strategy in coordination with Supply Chain and Operations. ·      Executive-level communication of program financial performance and risk posture. ·      Cross-functional influence within a matrixed organization supporting large-scale defense production. Qualifications You Must Have ·       Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience ·       Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (e.g. Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution. ·       Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). ·       The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer ·       Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form. ·       Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ·       Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in team environment to provide solution and continuous process improvement. ·       Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking. ·       Advanced Excel skills including Power Query knowledge.
