In this role, you'll inspect homes and buildings for mold contamination and water damage, assess indoor air quality, perform testing and diagnostics, and guide customers through remediation solutions. Competitive Pay: Based on experience and qualifications Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement and professional certification Company Vehicle: Daily local travel in a company-provided vehicle Paid Training: We support certification and continued skill development Tech Commission: Earn more for making recommendations for service and products Meaningful Work: Help improve the health and safety of homes and businesses Full Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and paid holidays We Think You're a Great Fit If You: Are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on field work Have experience in construction, environmental services, HVAC, building maintenance, or related trades Enjoy solving problems and identifying root causes Are highly organized and detail-oriented Communicate professionally and confidently with customers Can work independently and manage your time effectively Are dependable, punctual, and customer-focused Are comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record What You Will Be Doing: Inspect homes and buildings for mold contamination and water damage Conduct initial walkthroughs and assessments with customers Measure air quality, moisture, and humidity levels using specialized equipment Collect air and material samples for mold analysis Recommend appropriate remediation and treatment solutions Install drying equipment, including fans and dehumidification systems Perform post-remediation testing and diagnostics Educate customers on mold prevention and indoor environmental health Document job findings and recommendations according to company standards Respond promptly to customer concerns and service needs Represent RAData and Protect Environmental in a professional, customer-focused manner Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of experience in construction, environmental services, HVAC, building maintenance, or a related field preferred Ability to obtain mold assessment/remediation certification (IICRC or applicable state certification) within the required timeline Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and follow established procedures This position operates primarily in field environments and requires frequent walking, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment Capable of occasionally working in crawl spaces, attics, and on roofs Must be able to regularly lift up to 60 pounds Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Why Join Radon Be Gone?
