MEP BIM Engineers

Job Description Responsibilities: ·         BIM experience working on multi-D projects ·     Should have in depth Knowledge on one of the following MEP Systems : Electrical Systems (Lighting, Smal Power, Cable routing) Mechanical systems (HVAC, PHE and Firefighting) ·         To collaborate with Designers, BIM leads, Planners to ensure alignment and quality BIM models. ·        Develop documentation required to support the implementation and progression of 3D & 4D BIM ·         Promote the Digital Rehearsal process ·         Confident in presenting to a wide range of stakeholders including Site Teams, Supplier, Client ·         Excellent and passionate communicator ·         Train, develop and support others in the use of best practices and latest technologies ·         Work closely with the Designers and BIM teams and Planners to ensure 3D models and plans are adequately developed to facilitate optimal 3D,4D&5D modelling ·         Be familiar with other methods of visualization; Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality ·         Leadership skills - deliver and lead a team through digital rehearsal. ·         Preparation and presentation of progress for discussion at meetings ·         Should be well versed with Revit MEP & AutoCAD and able to mentor team. The Individual: ·         Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills ·         Able to demonstrate advanced CAD and BIM technical knowledge ·         Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business ·         Good team player whilst remaining self-motivated ·         Problem solving abilities ·         Excellent time management and prioritization ·         Creative thinker with a can-do attitude. ·         Confident and professional manner Requirements: ·         Clash detection, clash solving and multi-D coordination. ·         Knowledge of multidisciplinary and multiregional project to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM Standard ·         Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings & specifications ·         Ability to work using Engineers calculations and design in producing drawings / 3D modelling ·         Knowledge of Building design processes working within a multiple discipline engineering environment, and within a project and commercially focused business. ·         Identify, interpret and apply required industry/ client/ internal CAD/BIM standards.
