Overview Piedmont Eastside, Behavioral Health, Full time Days Our 62-bed Behavioral Health Unit is seeking compassionate mental health clinicians to care for patients with psychiatric illnesses.  Our recovery-oriented program provides opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative care environment. 62-bed Inpatient Psychiatric Center Adult Psych Unit (ages 18- 64) Geriatric Psych Unit (ages 65 and older.) (Patients in this unit requires assistance with all aspects of daily living -Total Care) Intensive Outpatient Program ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) Social Workers are expected to conduct group therapy, psychosocial assessments, and discharge planning. Responsibilities Provide Psychiatric and/or Chemical Dependency counseling services to the patients admitted to Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health inpatient units. Qualifications Education Master’s Degree Required Work Experience 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, either inpatient or outpatient /partial hospital setting addressing both psychiatric and chemical dependency issues with clients. A minimum of two years of supervised experience in psychiatric setting or addictive disease treatment setting Required or 3 years of continuous active recovery in twelve step program Required Licenses and Certifications Professional certification and/or licensure as LCSW; LMSW; LMFT; LPC or actively pursuing such certification and/or licensure with projected completion within 2.5 years of hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification Upon Hire Required and CPI certification within 90 Days Required Business Unit : Company Name Eastside Medical Center
