The Material Program Manager (level 5 ) is responsible and accountable for the execution of material schedule and budget for Voyager Technologies, including program execution with key propulsion subcontractors. The MPM leads all phases of subcontract program execution. This includes developing supplier program management documentation such as monthly status reports, SRR/PDR/CDR materials, program planning documentation, and program management related CDRLs, and presenting subcontract program materials to technical teams, leadership, and customers. The Material Program Manager (MPM) is a unique position that requires strategic thinking as well as tactical execution allowing an individual to make immediate tangible impacts. A successful MPM can work with minimal supervision to solve complex problems to ensure both short term and long term success of their respective program. An MPM would need to possess strong hard skills to execute plans to completion, as well as soft skills to appropriately work with multiple disciplines, and communicate challenges to many stakeholders. Responsibilities include: Demonstrated ability generating, managing, and owning Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and EVMS (earned value management system) Financial responsibilities including project-level profit and loss, EAC’s, material sales forecasting, accruals, and cost account management (CAM) Lead program execution with key subcontractors through all program phases, including SRR/PDR/CDR milestones and program management related CDRLs Serve as a primary customer contact for material and subcontract program information Ability to confidently present and represent Voyager Technologies Global Supply Chain in Program Management Reviews, leadership briefings, and customer briefings Ability to creatively solve complex supply chain problems with data driven strategies Demonstrated aptitude in identifying Risks and Opportunities to the program Consistently work on supply and demand to proactively identify gaps to eliminate them Escalate critical material shortages immediately upon identification and own efforts to resolve them Ability to resolve short term problems while maintaining long term success of the program Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced development environment Implement solutions to overcome current & future material shortages Coordinate and optimize delivery schedules with critical Suppliers Support follow-on and new business opportunities, including input into proposals Challenge business impediments to excellence and continuous improvement Demonstrated ability to lead others through dynamic and fluid environments If your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business AND a minimum of twenty (20) years of program management and/or supply chain management experience, including five (5) years managing DoD propulsion related programs Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government issued Secret clearance; US citizenship is required Direct experience managing large subcontracts Material Program Management and/or Supply Chain Management experience working on prime defense programs Experience briefing executive management and customers on program status, risks, and future plans Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Strong Program and Budget Management skills Proficient user with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: Active DoD Secret clearance Management of rocket propulsion defense system programs, including propulsion control systems Bachelor's degree in Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Understanding of Government Procurement processes and regulations Lean and Six Sigma Training and/or Certification desired Experience leading and supporting prime proposal efforts and business development with funding customer offices Expert Excel ability including pivot tables, macros, and VBA Travel, Physical, and/or Government Mandated Requirements: Travel up to 10%, including the possibility of overnights within the United States The good faith base salary range for this role is $140,000-$195,000 at the time of this posting.
