This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Job Description As an Associate – Material Movement II based at Launch Complex 36, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, you will join a small but agile logistics team primarily responsible for the material flow and inventory accuracy that enable the final integration, test, launch, and refurbishment of Blue Origin’s New Glenn launch vehicle. You will collaborate closely with your customers including New Glenn launch operations technicians and engineers as well as ground system and launch pad technicians and engineers to receive and inspect parts, execute kitting and staging for work orders, and maintain real-time inventory control through ERP systems and on-pad operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced launch environment that demands strong communication, organization, and planning, coupled with meticulous attention to detail. Through disciplined execution and an unwavering commitment to customer service, continuous improvement, and safety, you will ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time. The work you do at Launch Complex 36 will directly contribute to the advancement of safe, repeatable spaceflight and will play a role in Blue Origin’s commitment to building the road to space. Responsibilities: Serve the customer to ensure work is not delayed due to parts Forecast part requirements and ensure plans are in place to transfer inventory to the launch pad in preparation to fulfill work order requirements Maintain inventory in accordance with company policies, to include proper labeling, storage, handling, and packaging. Perform cycle and annual inventory counts in accordance with count schedule. Research discrepancies in cycle and inventory counts Kit parts to work orders following daily work order pick schedule. To include physically pulling, packaging, labeling and electronically transacting parts from inventory Research shorts and mis-picks daily to verify proper inventory Inspect and receive parts returning to stock from work orders Work with Quality and Purchasing teams to resolve items with procurement and quality issues Follow up with purchase team for returns (warranty, RMA) Operate company equipment, e.g. electric pallet jacks, various size forklifts, common hand tools, and computer equipment Deliver kits and parts to staging and individual work cell areas as required Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5 S) Inspect and verify incoming shipments to the facility. Must be able to work with shipping and receiving department to inspect and receive larger items that will not be stored in common inventory areas Help in the coordination of shipping to and from the facility for out plant processing work Work directly with planning and purchasing teams to ensure all daily requirements are met with each job. If materials are not in house for the work order, the stockroom attendant will inform the appropriate party Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Must be able to work C Shift (weekend day shift, Friday – Sunday, 6am - 6pm) 5-7+ years of experience in the aerospace/space and/or manufacturing industries Must be able to read, write, and take direction in English Must be a self-starter who can execute with little to no guidance or direction Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and oral communication skills Strong math, analytical, and critical thinking skills to solve problems Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in all or most Microsoft 365 applications (i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and work extended periods in various climates and conditions (freezer, outdoors, hazardous, clean, etc.) Prepared to work in various areas that may cause exposure to fumes, dust, loud noises, outdoor weather, and moving mechanical parts Familiar with ERP systems such as Costpoint and/or SAP Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary Desired: Associates and/or bachelor’s degree Desire to find ways to improve upon current processes and procedures Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel on occasion Proficient in navigating ERP and inventory tracking systems Ability to calmly handle multiple responsibilities at the same time with competing demands from leadership and the customer Culture Statement Don’t meet all desired requirements?
