Manufacturing Planner (Levels II-Sr) - Machine Shop & AMF Spin-Form

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Position Specific Details   Available Shifts:  A | Mon-Fri (6am-2:30pm), B | Mon-Fri (2pm-10:30pm) C | Fri-Sun (6am-6:30pm) Teams with openings: Machine Shop, AMF & Spin Forming Location: Space Coast, FL   Relocation: Available   Qualifications: Highschool, GED or equivalent. 3+ years direct manufacturing planning or manufacturing build support experience Hardware manufacturing experience with structures, fluid systems, mechanical systems, or avionics systems, including but not limited to: assembly, integration, instrumentation, cleaning, non-destructive testing, leak testing, machining, welding, surface coatings, harness/cable routings, or composite structures. Develop manufacturing work instructions to clearly define the following manufacturing process: fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment. Need an understanding of CNC Machining process and interest to learn various CNC fabrication processes, equipment and fixturing required for the role. Closely manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the entire manufacturing process. Perform engineering drawing review and provide final approval for manufacturing. Define and support repair and rework activities. Perform root cause analyses when non-conformances and escapes are identified and deploy corrective actions. Design proper material handling and packaging to protect hardware throughout the build and test process. Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree throughout the entire build and test process. Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing including working knowledge of GD&T. Experience prioritizing hardware procurement and fabrication and communicating these priorities to the team. Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc). Ability to develop processes compliant to industry quality systems such as AS9100. Extremely customer focused with strong verbal and written communication skills. A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with teams of diverse skills across large geographic distances. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Desired: Experience with aircraft, launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellite development, production, or operations Proficient in writing work instructions at a high pace. Self-directed and able to balance several tasks at once Proficiency in 3D CAD programs (Creo Pro/E & Catia preferred). Must be physically able to: Support production floor activities.
