Manufacturing Engineer

Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a   Manufacturing Engineer.   The   Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing products and product families,   as well as   identifying ,   planning , and execut ing   cost savings, quality, productivity, and/or safety improvement projects .  The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.   Primary job duties include :   •   Designing manufacturing routings for parts and machines, with a focus on part quality and preservation of design intent •   Troubleshooting production problems and assisting management in developing permanent solutions •   Creating cost estimates •   Improving current manufacturing processes •   Assisting in capital improvement expenditures Urschel employee-owners design and manufacture industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries around the world from our global headquarters located in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A.
