Manager, Product Regulatory Compliance & Analytics

Position Mission   The Regulatory Compliance Manager is principally responsible for  building data analytics and   performing data validation to   manag e  risks for non-compliance to product hazard related regulations as well as customer / supplier contract requirements. This will require the role to develop and maintain professional relationships with  IT   partners such as Catalog, Digital Channel Partners and   Regulatory Apps IT   as well as   internal stakeholders (operations, quality, product engineering category, catalog, supply chain, contract accounts, etc.)   that will   provid e the insights and connections needed to perform the required data   validations     This role will support   internal partners outre ach management   by   owning the development and maintenance   of a     sharepoint . This role also includes performing related actions with Suppliers for NAPA’s product assortment to ensure compliance  to  the regulations and legislations that apply. Responsible for  providing technology driven process solutions to   ensur e  that suppliers continue to develop and implement best practices related to regulatory compliance and supplier diversity   by offering process solutions .   Position Performance Measures   Managing   Regulatory Apps that oversee compliance.   Record and  maintain  a forward-looking compliance calendar   Develop business data reports for use in regulatory projects.   Deliver required  outreach activities to educate and inform key stakeholders of regulatory and contract compliance requirements and impact  to  them.   Develop,   Track and monitor Compliance metrics such as Compliance Rate %.   Manage record keeping that can be  leveraged  instantly for any customer inquiries as well as any legal concerns coming from regulatory bodies or legal  department .   Responsibilities   Develops  procedures and  reporting  to generate supplier lists, surveys as required by compliance calendar or the business.  For the reporting, critical thinking needs to be engaged to design the reporting to meet multiple project needs.   Own the Regulatory Apps including user testing needed for ongoing enhancements made to   them   and getting any changes   validated   during production releases.   Conducting gap analysis in partnership with category and suppliers to ensure products  are in compliance  and executing sales bans to fix compliance gaps and sales release to fix any  erroneous  sales bans or in response to restriction status change as specified by suppliers. There is an expectation to be proficient in the existing regulation apps and manage troubleshooting where needed as well as  release bulletins to cross functional partners to ensure   store and warehouse inventory compliance.     Preparing risk management/compliance reports / records needed for sharing with customers / sales teams or government agencies when requested.   Supporting data analytics   and reporting   for   any non-compliance events. This includes  driving   deliverables from IT and Supply Chain Partners as needed .   Responsible for KPI reporting on compliance and to support ensuring liability risks are minimal.   Manage outreach efforts to educate and  inform   key   partners   (Suppliers, Operations, Category, Supply Chain)   on any   Technology based tools and templates .   Experience, Education, And Abilities   Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience  required .   5-7+ years professional experience in regulatory compliance, supplier diversity related role, engineering, or closely related fields   5+  years  automotive experience  preferred .   Exceptional attention to detail   Ability to be a reporting and application SME by independently navigating business data analytics reporting including  PowerBI , regulation apps and any other supplier diverse spend apps   Ability to use critical thinking to develop efficient action plans and to  anticipate  project risks that will be needed to be mitigated.   Ability to distill complex data into concise executive reports.   Experience using various computer applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite   Ability to work across all internal departments to drive projects to on-time completion.   Highly motivated  individual  that  has  a strong drive for results;  communicates  effectively both in written and verbal communication formats.   Not the right fit?  Let us know you're interested in a future opportunity by joining our Talent Community on jobs.genpt.com or create an account to set up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!
