Manager - Plant Engineering

Overview Planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling the activities of assigned department functions, which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds of the hospital in an operative and safe working condition, and coordinating construction activities. Responsibilities Planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling the activities of the Engineering Department functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds of the hospital in an operative and safe working condition. Qualifications Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required College degree Preferred Work Experience 10 years of experience in a engineering setting, to include two years (2) supervisory experience Required Substantial knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building structure and construction, understanding of life safety systems, regulatory requirements governing hospitals and an understanding of budgeting procedures Preferred Licenses and Certifications None Required Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Newnan Hospital
