Location 680 Lake Shore Drive Job Description General Summary:      Manages the e-learning and technology systems function for Center for Childhood Resilience (CCR) in the Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. The e-learning management system supports multiple CCR programs and initiatives. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plan for the e-learning management system and function. The Manager, e-Learning Technology Systems must demonstrate innovative thinking with leading-edge instructional design and technology trends in the development of learning for projects and initiatives. Essential Job Functions: Lead development and implementation of the e-learning vision and strategic plan to continuously increase interactivity for the best learner experiences to improve program and learning outcomes based on industry best practices. Responsible for the design, development, maintenance and seamless user experience of the external learning management system, learning media platforms, and learning support function. This includes testing, publishing and upkeep of courses, resources, and online learning materials on the e-learning platform. Collaborate with leadership, subject matter experts, internal teams and key organizational partners to assess feasibility of interactive technical solutions, provide recommendations for implementation, plan and implement projects, innovations and enhancements for the e-learning technology function. Responsible to scope and manage e-learning, specific user group and related technology projects, including prioritization, timelines, costs, resource planning, workflow management and project delivery to ensure successful outcomes. Manage internal team, external partners and vendors to maintain feature functioning, provide end user support, implement system enhancements, develop and test innovative learning solutions, and integrate industry best practices. Manage data and reporting including user traffic, user experience and feedback, knowledge and skill gains from courses to be used for continuous quality improvement of content and system functionality. Responsible for managing data integration and compatibility between the e-learning management system and other program e-platforms including Resilience-Supportive Schools Illinois (RSSI) platform. Oversee the documentation, record keeping systems, and reporting for the learning function to meet program and grant compliance and planning needs. The authority to hire, separate, promote, demote, write and administer performance evaluations. Other job functions as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Management, Information Systems, Communication, Instructional Design or related field required. Masters degree preferred. Five (5) years of leadership experience managing functions and teams with increasing responsibility and complexity. Minimum five (5) years’ experience administering and supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS), including custom platforms and enterprise solutions such as Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Absorb, and SAP SuccessFactors preferred. Demonstrated experience applying adult learning principles to training courses, including needs assessment, instructional design, content development, delivery, end-user testing, and program evaluation. Skilled in designing and delivering learner-centered experiences that support adult learners' development and continuous growth. Familiarity with a wide range of web development technologies (HTML, Flash, JavaScript, online video formats etc.) Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, provide consultative support, and lead projects from planning through implementation. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences Ability to balance workload demands, resolve issues proactively, and consistently meet project and business goals. Proven capability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain productivity in fast-paced environments. Education Pay Range $93,600.00-$154,440.00 Salary At Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
