JOB SUMMARY   A Maintenance Technician 3 at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be part of the maintenance staff, maintaining records, keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities.   WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?   $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.  Access to our world-class facilities. You will work and play in the same innovative environments as professional and Olympic athletes.  Discounts on food, retail and gear.   Career Development and growth opportunities here and at our facilities across the globe.  A connection with people who share the same passions and embrace each other’s unique and individual styles.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Operate power driven street equipment  Operate heavy equipment (Skid Steer, Lawn Tractors)  Operate vehicles including: pick-up trucks and Kubota Side by Side and trailer  Clean, maintain tools and mechanical equipment  Load, unload, transport parts, materials and equipment  Pick up trash  Respond to emergency calls   Perform painting duties, sand, caulk, prime and paint  Perform groundskeeping tasks such as: weed eating, mowing grass, and landscaping   Operate a pressure washer  Perform snow removal   Assist with equipment repair  Perform an array of plumbing, electrical and carpentry work  Repair vandalism  Operate spray units  Put up and remove seasonal awnings  Repair and patch concrete and asphalt around campus  Perform seal coating on asphalt roadways  Apply concrete sealant  Manage projects and a crew  Put on ramp stickers around campus  Install and repair or replace light fixtures, ballasts, switches, and outlets  Operate small hand and power tools  Operate a variety of air tools  Assume custodian's duties  Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner   Conduct routine maintenance and safety facility inspections  Other duties as assigned.  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES   +/- 10 Employees   KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES   Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines   Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team.   Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time    Strong interpersonal skills. Can think "outside the box". Has the ability to implement ideas.     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly   Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and accountability   Strong attention to detail   Comfortable handling confidential information   Successful working in an independent and team environment   Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques  Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team   QUALIFICATIONS   Required Qualifications   5+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques    Valid driver's license  OSHA certified on applicable equipment   Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces   Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenance   Provide work related references upon request.   Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprinting  PRE-REQUISITES   Must have or be able to obtain the following prior to starting work:   Woodward will supply information to assist you in obtaining these if needed.    Mandated Reporter Training Certificate  Safesport Training Certificate  PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS   Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.    Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.    Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.    Primary on-site work location: Woodward, PA  You make us Woodward.
