What You'll Do Please make sure to apply with resume and cover letter.  In your cover letter, please include why you feel that are interested in this role and what makes you a good fit.   Maintenance/Facilities Manager Maintain AMER locations in the Ogden, Utah; Ogden DC, Service Center, and Main Office.   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily: ·       Own the day-to-day facilities and maintenance function for the Distribution Center and other assigned facilities, including the ASWO main office and the ASWO service center, ensuring buildings, equipment, and infrastructure remain safe, compliant, secure, and operational. ·       Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians; set clear expectations, establish priorities, hold the team accountable, and build technical capability across the department. ·       Ensure appropriate maintenance coverage across all operational hours; effectively schedule technicians and resources based on operational needs and equipment risk. ·       Own the preventive maintenance program for OSR, CMC, material handling equipment, building systems, and other critical equipment; ensure PMs are completed on time and to standard. ·       Drive high equipment uptime and reliability, with particular focus on critical automation systems including OSR and CMC. ·       Lead the response to equipment and facility downtime; ensure rapid troubleshooting, appropriate escalation, clear communication, and effective recovery to minimize operational impact. ·       Own procurement and inventory of critical DC materials, maintenance parts, and supplies, ensuring appropriate availability to prevent operational disruptions. ·       Own physical security and access control for all assigned facilities; ensure security systems, alarms, cameras, doors, and access procedures are maintained and effective, and proactively identify and address security risks or vulnerabilities. ·       Develop the technical capability of the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve issues internally whenever possible while effectively utilizing vendors and technical support when needed. ·       Maintain a safe and fully operational facility; proactively identify and address risks related to equipment, infrastructure, utilities, and building conditions. ·       Ensure all required licenses, inspections, certifications, permits, and regulatory requirements remain current with no lapses. ·       Partner closely with Operations and site leadership on workplace safety, including participation in safety meetings, identification of hazards, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of the site's safety culture. ·       Maintain strong working knowledge of applicable OSHA requirements and company safety standards related to facilities, maintenance, equipment, and contractor activities. ·       Own facilities oversight for additional assigned Amer Sports locations, ensuring consistent maintenance, safety, and facility standards. ·       Manage maintenance and facilities spend responsibly; identify opportunities to reduce material, vendor, repair, and operating costs without compromising safety or reliability. ·       Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, equipment manufacturers, and other vendors; ensure work is completed safely, timely, and to expected standards. ·       Partner closely with Operations to understand business priorities and ensure the facilities and maintenance team is focused on the equipment and issues with the greatest operational impact. ·       Support and lead facility and equipment-related projects, including equipment installations, building modifications, vendor coordination, commissioning, and operational handoff. ·       Proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, facility layout, maintenance practices, and infrastructure to better support operational performance. ·       Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM documentation, vendor information, equipment history, and other required facilities documentation. ·       Develop cross-training and technical redundancy within the maintenance team to reduce single points of failure and ensure critical equipment can be supported across shifts. ·       Build a strong succession pipeline within the maintenance team by identifying and developing employees capable of taking on greater technical and leadership responsibility. ·       Demonstrate strong ownership and problem-solving ability; proactively identify risks and drive issues through resolution with minimal supervision. ·       Model professionalism, reliability, safety, and accountability; set the standard for the facilities and maintenance team. ·       Perform other duties as assigned in support of Distribution Center operations. What We're Looking For This role requires 2+ years’ progressive experience in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution operation which includes automation; with 2+ years prior experience managing a team. A high school diploma or equivalent experience with a focus on supply chain, logistics or other operational types is preferred.  Other qualifications include: ·       High School diploma or equivalent ·       2+ years of facilities/maintenance experience required ·       Mechanical/troubleshooting skills required ·       3+ years of warehouse experience preferred ·       Leadership experience preferred ·
