Mail Clerk

Johnson Law Group is a fast-growing, client-focused legal practice built on collaboration, precision, and professionalism. We're seeking a reliable and organized Mail Clerk to join our Houston team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in their career, whether you’re a recent college graduate or looking for your first full-time role in a professional setting. We’re open to training the right individual who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor. This is a fully in-person position based in the Upper Kirby area of Houston. What You’ll Do Open, sort, scan, and route all incoming mail and documentation Process outgoing mail via FedEx, USPS (certified), and other methods Create and manage both electronic and physical file folders Download and maintain electronic medical records in our CRM Support large mailing projects, including mail merges, document coding, and Acrobat forms Maintain accurate records and assist with purging and archiving physical files Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects as needed Coordinate with internal teams on document logistics and process improvements What You’ll Need (Must-Haves) Professional appearance and dependable attendance Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to multitask, follow procedures, and work independently Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Nice to Have (Preferred but Not Required) Experience with Acrobat form setup Familiarity with Docrio or similar document management systems Prior experience in a law firm or high-volume office setting Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with generous company match Growth opportunities within a supportive and fast-paced team
