This role is the primary steward of government property accountability supporting the Worldwide Field Support (WFS) defense contract and program operations. You will drive disciplined property governance, compliance, inventory control, and audit readiness across the enterprise, while providing other duties as assigned . Primary: SME Property Administration Responsibilities Administer the lifecycle of government property and assets from acquisition through receiving, tagging, inventory, relief of stewardship, reporting, and contract closeout. Create and maintain records for all property accountable to the contract in the government‑approved property management system and maintain supporting documentation. Review and conduct audits of the overall property administration, ensuring compliance with FAR , DFARS , contract, and regulatory requirements; prepare self‑assessments and corrective action plans. Deliver targeted training sessions for logisticians and managers on established procurement and property administration processes and procedures. Manage government property in PIEE and the program system of record; ensure data quality, traceability, and timely updates. Monitors contract’s PIEE receipts, transfers, shipments and disposition progress. Generate property status and utilization reports; monitor excess and coordinate corrective actions to sustain readiness. Coordinate property transfers, disposals, and relief of stewardship in accordance with government and company policies. Lead periodic property inventories and reconciliations; resolve discrepancies and implement preventive controls. Monitors hand-receipts and ensure accuracy, accountability, and timely updates. Monitor TMDE assets and ensure calibration requirements remain in compliance. Ensure complete documentation and accountability for Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contract Acquired Property (CAP) throughout the property lifecycle. Compile, create, and distribute Government deliverables related to property management. Collaborate across procurement, logistics, maintenance, engineering, transportation, finance, contracts, and government stakeholders to keep property management synchronized with operations. Monitor, review and approve taggable assets transactions in program’s system of record. Maintain SOPs and desktop procedures; support internal/external audits and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with FAR 45 and DFARS 245 requirements governing acquisition, use, records maintenance, subcontractor oversight, reporting, and disposition of Government property. Validate that property records include mandatory FAR data elements (location, condition, value, acquisition method, unique ID, status, etc.). Monitor contractor‑acquired property (CAP) for proper classification, reporting, and conversion to GFP when required. Oversee loss/damage/theft/destruction (LTDD) incidents, ensure reporting to Government Property Administrators (GPAs), support investigations, and maintain documentation. Maintain audit‑ready records and evidence to support PMSA (Property Management System Analysis) reviews by DCMA. Coordinate sensitive‑item accountability, ensuring compliance with enhanced physical security, tracking, and inventory requirements. Validate equipment utilization to prevent idle, under‑used, or misclassified property; drive corrective and preventive actions. Ensure proper marking, labeling, and identification of all GFP/CAP in accordance with contract and system requirements. Support development of risk‑mitigation strategies to prevent loss, mismanagement, or improper disposal of Government property. Secondary: Procurement Support (other duties as assigned) Support procurement actions and other PMO logistics functions as needed. Assist with demand forecasting and vendor coordination as needed to ensure timely procurement processing. Maintain awareness of procurement schedules to align property record creation, inventory updates, and reporting. Contribute to continuous improvement that reduces cycle time and improves data quality across property/procurement touchpoints. Provide targeted training to logisticians and managers on property processes and related procurement handoffs. Ensure procurement‑related documentation required for property accountability is complete, accurate, and auditable. The Logistics Analyst Senior must have: ● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science ● Experience: Eight (8)+ years of progressively responsible experience in property administration , logistics, supply chain, acquisition, or program operations. Experience managing GFP/CAP accountability and supporting DoD programs.   Demonstrated experience executing standardized property management processes and leading operational improvements. Experience integrating property activities across multiple functional organizations and systems (e.g., PIEE ).
