Litigation Paralegal

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a reliable and certified paralegal. Our paralegals work directly with our attorneys to prepare for upcoming cases, involved in fact-finding projects and responsible for developing and maintaining organization of case files. This position will also include some secretarial and/or administrative duties. Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to: Create reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests Work with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions and other case filings Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes Utilize existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases Review, analyze, summarize and organize case files, documents, discovery, etc. Assist in preparing and organizing subpoenas or other formal requests for documents Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, court e-filing systems, Adobe A qualified candidate must be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to work as a team player in a professional environment. Candidates should have sharp attention to detail, an ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment, a professional demeanor, able to meet deadlines, along with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
