Company Overview A well-established skilled nursing facility in Manhattan is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. Position Overview The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience. Key Responsibilities Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include; Medication Administration, including IVs. Taking and recording vital signs. Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome. Provide resident and family education. Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals. Supervising CNAs Requirements NYS CNA or LPN License & Registration Updated healthcare resume Recent Physical + MMRV + PPD documentation Two reference letters Valid Photo ID / SSC / I-9 documents BLS Certification through the American Heart Association Pay Range USD $30.88 - USD $33.96 /Hr.
