Junior Software Development Engineer in Test

Overview Job Purpose As a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will work with Systems Analysts and Development Teams to understand business/product and system requirements. You will create, automate, and execute test cases. You will build and/or modify automation frameworks in an AI assisted development environment. You will be responsible for maintaining QA artifacts by following the current standards along with coordinating test execution, training users, and providing user support.  Responsibilities Learn and work with industry leading test automation tools: Cypress utilizing JavaScript, Playwright, Selenium utilizing Java and Python, Custom Python Frameworks. Test in a multi-tiered based architecture featuring Java and JavaScript architectures (JavaScript architectures tested will include extJS, JQuery, Oracle, and ReactJS). Gain experience with iterative and agile software development methodologies. Develop the necessary skills to perform troubleshooting of software and hardware configuration problems. Develop critical testing skills and work side by side with an experienced QA team. Develop a strong background in building automated testing architectures / frameworks. Participate in all aspects of a full-life cycle development methodology, and related quality concepts and processes. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline Demonstratable proficiency in at least one of Java, JavaScript, Python Demonstratable knowledge of independently writing SQL Queries Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills Previous exposure to Quality Assurance or Financial Trading environments is a plus Previous exposure with AI tools is a plus ---------- Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
