Amentum is looking for a Plumber to join our team in Springfield, VA . You will work independently to perform construction and maintenance actions of a Plumber at our customer's Government site.  Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Responsibilities include the following: Install and repair pipes and fixtures and open clogged drains Install vents and traps in the plumbing system, in accordance with required codes Utilize appropriate plumbing and shop tools Work from preventive maintenance schedules Assist outside contractors, as required, with knowledge of facilities, operations, and utilities Cut openings in floors and walls to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Cut and thread pipe Bend pipe as required Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes Perform other job-related work as assigned Check systems for leaks Direct other repair personnel, as assigned Minimum requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. Minimum of five years of Plumbing Mechanic experience required. Ability to lift 45 lbs. Job Description Amentum is seeking an HVAC Control Technician to join our team in Washington, DC! As an HVAC Control Technician, you will operate, repair, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage the control systems and associated subsystems; as well as coordinate with the designated liaison on all current and future modification to the BMS. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US government security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on hardware for the assigned computer systems. Troubleshoot and schedule field repairs for instrumentation associated with the assigned computer systems. Troubleshoot software program problems in the assigned computer systems. Perform in-house training of personnel on operation of assigned systems. Make database changes, develop, and install graphic screens to enhance operation and maintenance. Monitor operations, implement new ideas, and establish trends toward Energy Management of the assigned systems. Define levels of access into the assigned systems. Develop and update floor plans or sensor locations throughout the building. Review and update alarm messages. Review alarm printout for possible system malfunctions. Conduct a daily inspection tour of the entire environmental control system, and related equipment, at this facility to perform period preventive maintenance. Test and adjust the control systems in accordance with a well-defined program. Install, maintain, and repair electronic and pneumatic equipment, such as building equipment controls, etc., and order parts required to make necessary repairs. Maintain a complete service workbench for electronic and/or pneumatic repairs. Synchronize operation of electric devices of 120 Volts and below, pneumatic, and mechanical sensing, control and recording devices. Adjust manual and automatic controls for HVAC systems. Check all safety valves and devices. Perform other job-related duties. Directs repair personnel as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Journeyman HVAC license, or Maryland Grade I Stationary Engineer License, or DC 3rd steam boiler engineer license or equivalent. Must have Universal CFC Eight years’ experience in maintenance and repair of pneumatic and electronic pneumatic control required. High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required. Can maintain, calibrate, and repair various parts of the system using equipment such as digital multimeter, analog voltmeter, variable power supplies, and Simpson meter. Have familiarity with Building Management Systems. Be willing to go off site for in-depth training on appropriate system. Be familiar with how to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and electronic pneumatic controls. Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions. A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as, ove
