It’s the way you want to be treated. Position Summary Silver Cross Hospital is seeking compassionate, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our patient-centered care teams. CNAs play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality, respectful, and safe care throughout their stay. This role is ideal for newly certified CNAs, experienced professionals, and individuals eager to grow within a respected healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities Obtain and record vital signs; promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff Support patient comfort, mobility, and safety Provide compassionate, patient-focused care Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary care teams Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient privacy guidelines Qualifications Active Illinois CNA certification and completion of a CNA certification program High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be 18 years of age or older Current CPR certification Excellent customer service skills. Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment. The expected pay for this position is listed below: $18.65 - $22.85 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
