Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.   Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Interim Maintenance Manager to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for establishing, coordinating, and overseeing the maintenance function for the Edmonton Valley Line West Expansion Project through to the end of construction, testing, commissioning and until the project is handed over to the client. What You'll Be Doing: Establish and oversee the interim maintenance program throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and transition to operations, ensuring maintenance requirements are properly planned, resourced, and executed. Review and manage maintenance requirements within subcontracts, including identifying gaps, preparing amendments, and ensuring all required maintenance obligations and interfaces are clearly defined. Lead and coordinate MIP maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and specialist service providers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual and project requirements. Develop and manage scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance plans, coordinating activities with construction, commissioning, and project schedules Oversee the project asset register and maintenance database, ensuring maintainable assets, maintenance requirements, history, warranties, and related information are accurately captured and maintained Manage the maintenance Work Order process, including creation, tracking, completion, quality review, and accurate archiving of WOs in Aconex, with completed documentation provided to the Asset Manager Procure and manage specialist maintenance services as required, including developing scopes, obtaining quotations, coordinating service providers, and ensuring best value for MIP. Develop, monitor, and control the interim maintenance budget, including forecasting, cost tracking, variance management, and coordination with Project Controls and Commercial teams. Oversee maintenance inventory and warehousing activities, ensuring appropriate control and availability of spare parts, consumables, tools, equipment, and critical maintenance materials. Manage defects, repairs, and warranty activities, coordinating with SMEs, OEMs, service providers, and warranty providers to ensure repairs, regression testing, documentation, and warranty claims are completed and tracked through resolution. Prepare and distribute maintenance reports and performance information, providing accurate updates on maintenance activities, outstanding issues, costs, work orders, inventory, warranties, and overall maintenance status. Support project readiness, training, safety, quality, and handover activities, ensuring maintenance personnel are appropriately trained and that maintenance processes, records, and asset information are ready for transition to Asset Management and Operations. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience, as well as 3+ years of experience in field construction is required. Project experience, preferably within major infrastructure, transit, transportation, industrial, commercial, or institutional construction/maintenance environments. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance/document management systems Experience with document management and project systems; Aconex experience is an asset. Demonstrated experience managing maintenance activities during construction, commissioning, startup, or transition to operations.·         Strong understanding of construction and maintenance contracts, scopes of work, subcontract administration, and contractual correspondence. Demonstrated ability to review contractual requirements and identify gaps, exclusions, interfaces, and maintenance obligations.·         Experience developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls, with the ability to work with Project Controls/Commercial teams to establish and maintain financial plans. Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background preferred, or strong general knowledge of ICI construction, building systems, infrastructure, and maintenance practices. Experience managing subcontractors, specialist service providers, and multidisciplinary maintenance teams. Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance principles, work-order management, asset management, and maintenance documentation. Valid Class 5 driver's license; clean driver's abstract preferred. ·         Ability to navigate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions  What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear contractual letters, notices, reports, scopes of work, and maintenance correspondence.
