Inside Sales Representative

TriStar provides software, services and hardware to engineering professionals at manufacturing and design companies throughout North America. TriStar is seeking energetic Inside Sales Representatives interested in a career with a stable and innovative company. The desire to work with new and existing customers via the phones is the key element to success in this position. Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical information; developing accounts. Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations. Close new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information. Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features. Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities. Preferred BA/BS degree Customer Service or Inside Sales Experience Experience working with a CRM, like Salesforce Required Excellent verbal/written communications skills Ability to quickly grasp technical ideas and concepts Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic personality Organized with excellent time management skills Ability to listen, understand and organize customer needs Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Professional appearance and demeanor Account management and development Generate & develop customers through outbound calls Prepare and present client proposals Maintain accounts and sales through company CRM Become a TriStar and industry product expert Strong phone presence, making 50 plus calls per day Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools TriStar provides a competitive base salary plus commission and bonuses (On-Target-Earnings for first year - $35,000-$45,000) with an employee benefit program which includes a 401K plan.
