Overview Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment or specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues. Responsibilities Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment or specific medical devices. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology, or a related field Required or In Lieu of degree related military training Required or In Lieu of degree four (4) years of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) experience in addition to the experience requirement below Work Experience (1) one year of HTM or electronics engineering experience  In lieu of degree Five (5) years of HTM or electronics engineering experience Required Licenses and Certifications None required Certified Radiology Equipment Services (CRES) preferred  Vendor training specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair in high end equipment such as Diagnostic Imaging  Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Healthcare Corporate
