Salary Statement Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $27.58/Hr. - USD $45.98/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Description Maintaining and operating temperature and humidity controlled rooms used for curing, coating, and specialized fabrication processes Monitoring and adjusting environmental settings, servicing HVAC and environmental‑control equipment, and ensuring all controlled spaces meet the precise conditions required for material processing Coordinating with fabrication and finishing teams to maintain stable cure‑cycle environments that support high‑quality production FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-KM1 Requirements Two‑year technical degree in HVAC, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field or equivalent military/industrial HVAC experience plus two (2) additional years of related experience 5 years of experience supporting HVAC or environmental control systems in technical, industrial, or fabrication environments Experience monitoring and adjusting temperature‑controlled and humidity‑controlled areas used for material curing, coatings, or specialized fabrication tasks Hands‑on experience maintaining or servicing HVAC units, air handlers, temperature controls, humidity controls, and ventilation systems Experience using gauges, meters, pressure monitors, and digital controls to maintain precise environmental settings Ability to follow cure‑cycle profiles, environmental specifications, and process documentation to support coating and material‑processing tasks Ability to work safely with HVAC tools, measuring devices, and environmental control equipment Desired Skills Experience supporting environmental‑control operations in prototype, fabrication, machining, or coating facilities Experience maintaining temperature‑controlled spaces used for paint/coating cure cycles, composite cure processes, or material stabilization Experience coordinating environmental conditions with coating technicians, composite technicians, or finishing teams Experience working in controlled environments for electronics, delicate assemblies, or coating applications Familiarity with DoD or Navy environmental standards related to curing, coating, or controlled material handling Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel Requirements Less than 15 business days per calendar year About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
