Heavy Equipment Mechanic II Phoenix, AZ $25-$35/hour + ESOP Ownership + Bonus + 401(k) Match Work on quality equipment. No crazy shifts. Home every night. Felix Construction is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help keep our fleet running strong. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, replacing major components, and seeing the results of your work every day, you'll fit right in. Unlike many mechanic jobs, you'll work consistent Monday-Friday shop hours, no overnight travel, and no rotating shifts. You'll have a clean, temperature-controlled shop, modern bays, and a wide variety of equipment to work on. Work Environment and Physical Demands: This position requires working on construction job sites in extreme temperatures. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and may occasionally use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods, climb on and off equipment, walk, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
