What You'll Do As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you'll be responsible for keeping our fleet operating safely and reliably by: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues Completing preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshooting equipment in both shop and field environments Performing quality repairs that minimize repeat failures and downtime Using diagnostic software, service manuals, and manufacturer information Maintaining accurate maintenance records and work orders Working closely with operations to keep equipment available for crews Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We're Looking For We're looking for mechanics who enjoy troubleshooting and take pride in fixing equipment right the first time. Ideally, you'll have: 4+ years of experience maintaining heavy equipment, commercial trucks, or construction equipment Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills Experience working on mixed fleets Journeyman certification or equivalent trade qualification (preferred) Experience with bucket trucks, digger derricks, utility equipment, or aerial devices is an asset A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed You'll Be Successful If You... Final compensation will be determined based on role requirements, experience, qualifications, work location, applicable project/site requirements, internal equity, and any applicable collective agreement or union requirements. This range does not include overtime, premiums, per diem / LOA, bonuses, benefits, or other forms of compensation unless specifically stated in the job posting.
