Hearing Technician

Overview Hearing Technician Position Overview: The Hearing Technician is responsible for performing routine audiometric testing in accordance with CAOHC certification standards and providing both administrative and technical support to the company’s Hearing Conservation Program. The selected candidate must successfully complete and pass a company-sponsored CAOHC training course. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily hearing tests and hearing-related services Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Organize, manage, and maintain both paper and electronic records using the corporate EMR system Report to the Medical Manager and provide support to the Corporate Audiologist as directed Assist with administrative tasks related to medical surveillance programs and daily operations Perform additional duties as assigned Schedule: This position follows a first-shift schedule with rotating later start times on a periodic basis. This position is at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. Qualifications Requirements: High school diploma or GED  Experience with Microsoft Office 1+ year of previous experience in occupational clinic / medical setting Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology Ability complete and pass a company-sponsored CAOHC training course Able to work all shifts and extended hours as needed Preferred Qualifications: CAHOC certification Skills Candidate will be required to be punctual, reliable and responsible Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal direction Ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with the branch level leadership, office staff and populations served Physical Qualifications Light Lifting, Reaching, Twisting Environmental Attributes Inside
