As an Application Support Engineer you will be responsible for acting as a software detective providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You are expected to be a subject matter expert collaborate and manage the team to perform. Effectively take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of complex technical issues and drive resolution through thorough analysis and collaboration Support and guide less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices Contribute to the design and improvement of support processes to enhance system reliability and performance Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions Analyze recurring problems and propose innovative approaches to prevent future incidents *This role requires working onsite with the client 3 days per week in Jersey City, NJ* Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience with advanced proficiency in Apache Hadoop Associate degree Preferred Qualifications: Advance proficiency in Apache Hive Advanced proficiency in Application Remediation PySpark, Python Programming Language and ETL Development Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
